Mapper of Mountains   The University of Alberta Press

From 1902 to 1930, Dominion Land Surveyor Morrison Parsons Bridgland took a series of mountaintop
photographs in Alberta and British Columbia, which became the basis for creating a legacy of topographical
maps of these areas. In 1997, the Rocky Mountain Repeat Photography Project reshot all of Bridgland's
images in the attempt to mark any ecological changes that had taken place.
